FAQ
To start the enrollment process, click on the Enroll button:
You'll go to the first page of the enrollment process.
New Student? If this is your first time taking one of our online courses, you will need to create an account with your name, username (a common username is "firstnamelastname" like "AdriaGoodness"), and password. If you have a coupon code (for example, if your institution has issued a course-wide program code), paste it into the Coupon Code field and click the button to move to the next page. Don't have a coupon code? No worries, just leave the field blank and click the button.
Returning Student? Have you created a username and password for an online course before? If so, click the + next to the "Returning Student? Click here to log in before registering" link, and enter your username and password to log in. Can't remember your existing username or password? Click the Reset Password link, and input your email address for a reset notification.
If you have a coupon code (for example, if your institution has issued a course-wide program code), you'll have the chance to enter it on the next screen.
Logged In Returning Students: If you have a coupon code (for example, if your institution has issued a course-wide program code), paste it into this field and click the button to move to the next page. Don't have a coupon code? No worries, just leave the field blank and click the button.
Payment: On this page, please enter your credit card number, expiration date, and CVC code (security code), then click the button.
If you get a red error message (see image below), you may have mistyped your credit card information. Try again, and click the button.
Thank You for Enrolling: Once you have successfully entered your credit card information, you will see this Thank You page. Click the "course link" to continue on to the course page.
Finding the Course: Next time you visit the site, you can go directly to the course page via the dropdown menu at the top of any page:
You'll be directed to the course as soon as you complete your course registration, which you can bookmark for easy one-click access in the future. Forget to save a bookmark when you registered? You'll also get an introductory email which includes the link to the course. Of course, you can always log into the course page from the course registration page, which is linked under Clinician Training on the website navigation menu.
Or, once you are in the Online Course environment, you can access the course via the Online Courses dropdown menu.
On rare occasions, you may see a Chrome browser bug that causes a course video to hang and not play properly. If you have access to another browser (for example, Safari), a quick fix is to temporarily switch to that browser to view the video. If not, you can close your browser and clear your cache [link to instructions]. On restart, you should be able to view the videos. [Note: this browser bug is a known issue when too many video or audio files are started in a short period of time. If you notice this problem, try avoiding starting and stopping multiple (6+) video or audio streams, and that should prevent the issue.]
In most cases, you should be able to print your PDF file directly from your browser from the File > Print menu, cmd/ctrl P, or the Print button. If your PDF file doesn't automatically adjust for the correct orientation (landscape vs portrait) or size ("fit" or "scale" to page or "automatic"), you can set those options manually in your Print dialog before hitting the Print button. The exact functionality may vary slightly by device (for example, phone or laptop), operating system (for example, Mac or Windows), or printer. If you have difficulty printing directly from your browser, try saving the PDF file (File > Save Page As/Save As) and then opening it in the free Adobe Reader app to print. It's a good idea to save your PDF files for future reference, and so that you can print them again at a later time.
